Made it! ...to London

So we are currently waiting on one person before we begin the five hour bus ride to Lampeter and Carmarthen. I will probably post some pictures once I get there, but for now here is a picture of the meeting point light in Heathrow International Airport...

On My Way!

So today is the BIG DAY!! I am writing this post waiting to catch the plane to Chicago and then from there to London! SOOO excited :) Then a 6 hour bus ride to Lampeter, that's sorta exciting, but kinda long after an 8 hour flight but oh well... Anyway....

WALES HERE I COME!! :D

Clean and organized room!

      So I finished my room today! Here it is all clean and organized :)

My Messy Room at Home

       So during my winter break I am supposed to clean and organize the room at my dad's house. I have been home for approximately four weeks and of those four weeks I have worked on my room for about four   hours and I have 1 week to finish it before I leave for Wales.

Update on my progress

         It has been five weeks since I last posted and some things have been checked off of my check list. Those things are: 

• Turn in forms to the IPC  
• Book my flight
• Celebrate Christmas and New Years

       There is one item that is partially completed thanks to Christmas which is gathering items that I shall need in Wales, however I still need a few more things

       I have two more weeks until my flight leaves for Wales on January 22nd and I am getting more and more excited each day.

What's the point?

         I am making this blog for my friends and family. This is also for people to get a better understanding of what the Study Abroad process is. It is not too difficult, but it is time consuming. I am not doing this for a class, but rather for my own personal use, and as I said earlier my family and friends benefit too. This will be an easy place for them to come to see how    I am doing and view some amazing pictures that I will be posting when I am in Wales. 

        Wales is supposed to be a beautiful and wonderful place. I have a feeling it will be wet and rainy most of the time, but I suppose I will just have to find out for myself quite soon. I am leaving for Wales on January 22nd which is seven weeks from this Tuesday. I am very excited, however I have many things I still need to do. They are:

• Turn in forms to IPC (International Programs Center)
• Book my flight
• Pack
• Gather items I will need while over there i.e. rain boots, rain coat. (many things that have to do with rain)
• Celebrate Christmas and New Years (yes these things are very important)
• Talk to PNC about financial things abroad
• Other things that I may be forgetting

So as you can see, it's a medium length list of things I need to do, but I am sure the entire experience will be quite enjoyable and I am EXTREMELY EXCITED!
